Commercial construction is a regular occurrence in Chambersburg; residents are accustomed to wondering what new business is being built in the area! Most recently, Keystone Health completed their new 68,000 square-foot facility at Chambers Hill Drive, a more than $10 million project which houses urgent care and pediatric therapy offices.

Just outside of Chambersburg, Penn State Mont Alto announced plans to develop a new $13 million Allied Health building, which will offer cutting-edge learning in the fields of nursing, occupational and physical therapies. The facility is expected to be completed in 2021.

Franklin County also offers ample opportunity for development, with “shovel ready” lots available in the form of over 1,500 acres of conveniently located land. With the help of Chambersburg Area Development Corporation (CADC) and Franklin County Area Development Corporation (FCADC), hundreds of businesses have been able to expand, build, renovate or move to the greater Chambersburg area creating a thriving local economy through commercial construction.
